Stranger Danger on a Madison Bus

POSTED Monday, November 16, 2009 --- 11:00 a.m. From Madison Police: On Friday morning, a 15-year old Madison girl was waiting for a bus at the Madison Metro East Transfer Point, 102 W. Corporate Drive, when she noticed a man sitting inside the bus shelter. They got on the same bus, and after initially sitting behind the girl, he moved up to where she was seated. The man proceeded to talk with the girl: asking her name, wanting her phone number, calling her precious and pretty, and wanting to know if they could be friends. The girl got off the bus at the North Transfer Point, and so did the man. When this happened, she immediately got back on the bus she had just left, and she went back to her home. The stranger did not get back on the bus. Suspect: Male, black, 60's, short gray hair, trimmed beard and mustache, 5'8", medium build, wearing dark blue jeans, sweater and a t-shirt.
