Hello, everybody!

I just want to remind all of you about this Thursday, May 22nd!

If you've been watching, you know what I'm talking about... Take Your Brat to Work Day!

It's a kickoff event for Brat Fest, and it's happening this Thursday from 6-9 am. You just drive through the NBC 15 parking lot off of Forward Drive -- you can see us from the Beltline!

I'm a Boca Brat girl myself (They're also sold at Brat Fest Friday through Monday), but the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill --weighing in at 53-thousand pounds -- is a sight to see in our parking lot!

A bunch of us NBC 15ers will be out there, helping drivers... handing out condiments and just having fun. To give you an idea of how much fun, last year drivers purchased more than 10-thousand brats in three hours!! But, not to worry, the Big Taste Grill can handle it -- apparently, it cooks about 25-hundred brats an hour.

Amy Carlson says the weather looks good, but either way, you can pick up as many brats as you like from the comfort of your car so we all certainly hope to see you there. (Each brat is a $1.50 donation.)

Brat Fest itself is Memorial Day weekend at Willow Island at the Alliant Energy Center, and remember, sales benefit dozens of local groups and charities whose volunteers staff Brat Fest.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I look forward to this event every year!!!!! I can't wait. There's nothing like a good brat for breakfast!!! :)
