Hello, everyone!
If you're like me and you love animals, check out this website.
 
I came across it by reading a news release from the Dane County Humane Society.
 
The society's eligible to win a 20-thousand dollar grant! All we need to do is go to the site to vote.  I searched for Dane County, and Dane County Friends of Ferals also popped up!  So... go cast your vote for all of the cats, dogs and other critters who need our help.
 
OR, if you live outside of Dane County, search for your local shelter... For example, I searched Green County, and the shelter in Monroe came up.  You don't need to register or do anything else other than vote.
 
All you need to do is go to the website and click on the purple "shelter challenge" tab on the right side.  The 20-thousand dollar grant is the grand prize, but your shelter could win another grant, and imagine what it could for all of the homeless animals in your community! 
 
And while you're there, check out the site.  You can buy stuff or find other ways to give...  As it says... "it's all about animals!"

    You amaze me. you simply amaze me, every time. your support of animals is truly inspiring. It is just a simple and heart breaking shame that the site is so blind unfriendly. The only way to confirm your vote is to identify the animal in a picture, and type the word into a box... nice that even today, in a world where these things can be made to offer an audio clue to visually impaired users... that some sites still refuse to make their site accessible to all who may want to vote for their shelter. It just makes me sad.
