America’s Next Top Model is one of my favorite reality shows. It brings girls from all different backgrounds together and at the end deems one girl America’s next Top Model. The winner receives some great prizes like a modeling contract and huge spread in a high fashion magazine. And starting next cycle the show will make a huge change.

 For its next round, the show is looking for women 5 feet 7 inches and under. 5’ 7’’ was once the minimum height, it's now the maximum. 

This makes me wonder, could the idea of beauty be changing? Being only 5’2’’ I never had a chance at modeling, but now I'm a candidate and you may be, too.

I think it’s great that a show would offer a chance to all girls… short, tall, big, small.  

 So if you're 18-27 or know someone who is, take a chance. Show those judges how beautiful you are inside and out, but try and avoid any melee like what happened at the casting in NYC. The closest audition as of right now is in Chicago, on March 25^th. Good Luck!
