For this blog, I invite any and every Detroit Pistons hater out there to dish out some trash talk to me. I mean why not? I've probably already heard everything you have to say anyways. Not only am I getting destroyed by my friends from every state except Michigan, but I come in to work the other day after their game 1 loss to the Celtics to find a picture of the "Boston Three-party" with a drawn speech bubble over Kevin Garnett's head saying "1 down 3 to go boys". I mean why does everyone want to bash on the Big D? All they've done is win the last 6 years. I know they've only won one championship, but they play good fundamental basketball. Shouldn't we want to see some good hard nose defense? Not to knock the NBA's offense as a whole, but almost every team scoring over 100 points gets a little old don't ya think? Anyways, I'm sure I'll hear it for this one, but like I said I invite any takers to try and dish it out. Till Next Time Nick |

May as well go home now Posted by: Matt Location: Wausau Hey Nick, The Pistons stink...maybe they will get lucky and get Greg Stiemsma to play for them... after all he is kind of a Bill Lambier type of a player isn't he...then if they could also get Drew Neitzel as well... then maybe the Pistons could play some better defense as well... I think the Celtics will win the series because they have much more dynamic players, not that I know what I am talking about, since I don't follow the NBA regularly.. but I am sure the powers that be want to see Lakers vs. Celtics rather than Spurs vs. Pistons again... Oh well.. at least the Red Wings will be hoisting another Stanley Cup soon barring a great comeback by the Penguins...
