| The Milwaukee Brewers need to pull the trigger on this C.C. Sabathia deal now. I know they don't want to give up too much, but I don't see the problem with giving up prospects (unproven big league talent) for last year's AL Cy Young Winner. Sabathia would almost instantly make the Crew the favorite to win the NL Central. Milwaukee was only 3 and 1/2 games back entering today (Sunday, July 6th), and having Ben Sheets and Sabathia would push the rest of the rotation down and be huge for Milwaukee. Also, with the exception of Torres their bullpen is awful, and therefore needs to come in with as big a lead as possible. Adding Sabathia would also help with that. The guy throws gas, and could be essential in getting the crew back to the post-season this year. Fans are tired of waiting for the playoffs, so Melvin get on it already! |

They did!!!! Next topic!! Posted by: Ace Location: Edgerton Ask and you shall receive Nick. It is nice to see the Brewers be the recipients of the big name players as opposed to trading them away as in years past. It is very similar to when the Brewers traded for Don Sutton in 1982. |
