I'll be the first one to admit I've never been a huge fan of the Olympics, until now. The storylines in this year's summer Olympics are pretty phenomenal. Michael Phelps is probably the biggest draw, well on his way to 8 gold medals in 1 games, setting 5 new world records in his 5 golden performances so far. Then, you've got the Chinese gymnastics team. If you've seen that team, you'd know there's definitely 2 girls that don't look a day over 13 years old and you're supposed to be 16 years of age. They go out there and put on a show in taking home the women's gymnastics team title, while the American captain falls twice (on the vault, and the floor routine). The "Redeem team" is actually looking as if they'll do the U.S. proud and collect a gold after basically becoming a laughing stock in recent years. In fact, I'm gonna say they won't get touched on their way to winning the gold. Anyways, if you haven't been watching our Olympic coverage on NBC 15 you should be. Yes, it's kind of a shameless plug, but trust me when I say you will be entertained.
