How can anyone still be a fan of Brett Favre at this point? Ever since he retired from the Packers he's been nothing but a constant headache. Every day there is a new piece of news coming out about the guy because every media outlet/reporter wants to be the one to break the story. He took forever to come out and actually make some of his own comments on TV. Plus, his agent denies everything, as if he hasn't nor ever will be in the loop, and quite frankly it's gotten more than tiresome. If you're going to come back and play just do it already! I know with what the guy has done in his career he'll forever have fans, but even the most die hard Favre fan has got to be growing tired of the will he/won't he return to play for the Vikings saga. He's had his time in the spotlight, and I know it's hard for athletes to let go when they've still got a little bit left in the tank but it's time to move on. If you're still a huge #4 fan please respond to this blog and let me know why. If you're a Packer fan, you should be a Packer fan, and boo Favre when he plays for Minnesota. I know what he did for the franchise, but that would be like Magic playing for the Celtics just to spite the management of the Lakers. It always takes two to tango, and whether you blame Ted Thompson or Brett Favre for the breakup they are both to blame.

I think the Vikings just found it as a way to get in on the "Cash for Clunckers" program!

It is sad that he has such a big ego. He is very selfish and does not think of anyone but himself. He is just making a fool of himself. So go ahead and be the cocky jock that you are Brett.

Hey, put Brent in a Viking jersey, bring him to Green Bay and let Clay Matthews or A.J. Hawk put an end to his consectutive streak with a blind side blitz.

Hey Nick check out NBCsports.com. A colleague just informed me a few minutes ago (6/24, approx 11:45 am) that Farve is indeed going to the Vikings. At any rate, in response to your blog I've always been a Packer fan first regardless of who the quarterback or coach was. Indeed there were some rocky times when Makowski and Wright were QBs and Gregg and Starr were coaching. I don't think Farve will ever be done until he retires from every team in the NFL. Saw a great T-shirt recently that said: "You will never be forgotten, Brent".
