Where Should We Go?
This "Spring Break" ... this mom is looking for some fun, new places to take the kids.  Any suggestions for indoor activities that can burn off some energy, add some education, ANYTHING?  We've been so cooped up this winter and now we have a week with no school or preschool and are stuck at home again.  Don't get me wrong, when it's sunny and 40 we go for a walk around the block.... even try to hit the zoo soon... but I have a feeling we have a few more weeks (hopefully not months) of the blahs.  Thanks for your input!

Head to Buffalo Phils in the Dells! There's a western grille for the eatin' and a giant arcade and play house for the fun! I have a 5 and 3 year old and they love it there!

the childrens museum is always a winner, my kids still aren't sick of it and they're 7 and 8! They daily have activities (check website). Also, I wish more low-income people knew that if you receive any kind of assistance with housing, food etc.. admission is only a quarter!!

Posted by: KT I have to go with Deer Valley in Barneveld also. The price is right and its usually not too crowded. My kids love it there. Very easy!

I have to plug Kalahari especially with kids. We went there a couple of weeks ago w/ our two children and they LOVED it!!!!

Posted by: Katrina I think my children are close in age to yours. I have one 2 1/2 and the other one just turned a year. We've had the winter blues, and discovered Deer Valley waterpark in Barneveld. I can not get me 2 year old to leave! It's a great place for little kids and not too big as you can see the whole place from anywhere in there. It's very reasonably priced, too. $10 for a day pass for adults and two and under are free. My two year old talks about "slides-weeee" everyday!
