Which is why I wanted to write today... only hours after losing Danny Gokey, who I love. What a shame. All 3 of those guys are enormously talented but I'm sick of the Adam Lambert obsession. He's better suited for broadway, won't sell millions of records if he pulls off that Axl Rose scream too frequently, right? I'd love your opinions, or simply your mourning over losing our Wisconsin Idol contestant. In the meantime, I'm voting for Kris Allen next week, no matter how the show goes. Of course he's cute but I also honestly think I'd buy his CD or download his songs. By the way, is his wife pregnant or does she just wear baggy shirts around the waist? |

I'm glad Kris won, but I honestly don't know how far each of them will go. Danny will go far, I went to his Charity Dinner and to see him at the Riverside Theater on Tuesday and his speech about his late wife and what he wants to do with his foundation are incredible. This man is going to go far. He is so kind and generous. The world needs a positive influence like him and he wants to start a movement and I believe that he will be very successful at doing so! He said he didn't have to call me because it is going to be Adam, "I'm so sure I will bet you $100.00." he said with great certainty!! Adam dares to be different and while some don't like him, his chameleon voice can make him popular in many different genres of music. I, for one, am tired of these new "cookie cutter" artists. But he didn't win (didn't say lost because he didn't lose) so it sounds as if you're pouting. Kris really pulled it off the last couple of weeks. All three are talented. My order? Adam, Kris, Danny. I turn the sound down when he's "singing" or should I say "screaming". I have never enjoyed him. Plus I think it would have been a better finale if the final 2 were Kris and Danny. I'll still watch next week but I'll be turning the sound down when the screaming starts. |
