A woman is attacked after trying to sell merchandise to a group of men in southwest Madison.
It happened Friday night around 9:30 in the 1100 block of Ann Street.
Police say, the woman did not know the suspects very well, but had agreed to meet them.
The three black men, all in their 20's, then displayed a handgun and demanded the victim's purse and car.
Her red 1992 Ford Probe with a Wisconsin license plate of 3-5-5-M-Y-C and purse were taken. No injuries were reported.

Madison Police responded to the report of an armed robbery that occurred at the above location (1100 Ann Street). The victim had agreed to meet the suspects to sell merchandise to them, but did not know these men well. The female victim reported to police that the above suspects met her in the 1100 block of Ann Street. The suspect driver was described to be taller. All three men were dressed in black or darker clothing.
The suspect driver displayed a black handgun and demanded the victim’s purse and car. The victim was not injured, but her red 1992 Ford Probe with WI license plate 355MYC and purse were taken. This car and plate are currently listed as stolen. If anyone should see this vehicle, please call police and do not attempt to contact the occupants. This investigation is on going at this time.
Suspects:
3 B/Ms, 20's, all dressed in black/dark clothing
Driving an older, brown Chevrolet or Ford
Driver was taller with black skull cap
