Police say a man is exposing himself to children near Frank Allis Elementary school. It happened on Buckeye Road in Madison.
March 27th, police say a man exposed himself to a 9 year old girl while she was walking to school. Now, there's another occurrence. Madison police say students were getting off a bus at Frank Allis Elementary school, Monday, when a man drove past the bus and exposed himself. Police say they've stepped up patrols in the area. Both exposures happened between eight-fifteen and eight-thirty in the morning. Those who live in the neighborhood say it's a quiet, friendly, and family oriented neighborhood, so they're obviously concerned about this crime.
"There are a lot of children in this neighborhood and with the school being right down there, sure, absolutely, it's something to be aware of and now that I do know I will obviously keep myself more aware," said Cheryl Schiltz, who lives in the neighborhood.
"I'm just glad I found out about it, I think it's pretty isolated so I know we'll get it worked out, but that's pretty scary, yeah," said Robert Christianson, who lives near the school and has children.
Here's what police know about the flasher. He's described as a white man in his 30's. He's bald and was wearing a bandanna and driving a grey or silver pickup truck. If you have information, call police.
Police say the Madison school district did send home information to parents about both of the exposure incidents.
