Let's help the Police by defending ourselves. They can't be everywhere, we need to do something NOW. It seems to be getting worse. And our so called leaders don't seem to care.

"Amazed" is totally right. Glad I live where I do and not in Mad City. But we do need to be vigilant wherever we live.

Be vigilant (but not a vigilante). Be aware. Travel in groups of 2 or more so one can keep an eye out for trouble. Avoid possible problem spots. Call the police if you even think there's something suspicious. Take a course in self defense to learn some of the things to watch for. Above all, keep your cool, and remember that your money is replaceable, but your life is not. Always remember that if your life is in danger, do whatever is necessary to save yourself. Having said that, as human beings we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I'll protect myself anyway possible and necessary; regardless of what our Governor has to say about it.

Next time it will be with a gun. And after that, someone will be shot. I will never, ever shop at that store again!
