UPDATE Posted Friday, April 25 --- 11:30am

Here is the official Incident Report from Madison Police Department:

On April 23rd, shortly after 8:00 p.m., a Madison resident (a woman in her 50's) contacted the MPD after finding a prowler peering into her rear patio door, which is very close to a daughter's bedroom window.

The woman confronted the prowler and he claimed to be waiting for a friend. The victim then recognized this person as being the same man she caught peeping in the same daughter's bedroom window in the fall of 2007.

She did not report the first incident to the MPD. This time, after putting two and two together, the woman grabbed her cell phone, called 911, and followed - at a safe distance - the prowler as he began to run down Jacobs Way. She saw him get into a car and speed away.

The perpetrator's description is somewhat similar to that of a man who exposed himself to a woman who was running on a bike path near Hammersley Road on Tuesday, April 22nd; however, it is not known if the cases are connected.

Suspect:
Perpetrator is described as a male, white, 20-25 years old, 5'11", 180 lbs., blonde - possible dyed - hair, facial stubble, wearing dirty white t-shirt, baggy blue jean shorts. He was smoking a cigarette, and seen leaving in a bluish or grey 4-door, older, beat-up car.

Here is the official Incident Report from the Madison Police Department:

At 12:42 p.m. on Tuesday a woman who had been running on a Madison bike path between Midvale Boulevard and the West Beltline Highway called police dispatch.

She wanted to notify the MPD of an incident that had occurred about 40-minutes ago, an incident that had scared the caller.

The victim says while on the bike path she observed a thin white guy with his pants around his ankles. He was exposing himself to the runner.

She says he did not try to do anything to her, but she was quite concerned about the man's behavior.

Suspect: Perpetrator is described as a thin white male around 25 years old.
