Madison Police release two sketches from a June 8 robbery.

The incident report included the following:

On Sunday night (June 8), around 10:30 p.m., Madison Police were called to a local hospital where a gunshot victim was being treated for a leg wound. The 21-year-old man reported that he was walking in the 1600 block of Chadbourne Avenue when two robbers approached him. They demanded his wallet. The victim refused to turn it over, and started punching the perpetrators. He was able to knock one to the ground. This prompted the second robber to produce a gun, which he used to shoot the victim in the leg. The criminals then fled. A roommate drove the victim to a hospital where the victim was treated and released.

The MPD would ask citizens to take a look at the sketch, and to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014 with any information on who this criminal might be.

First of all if I were the victim in this situation, I would just give them what they want, that can be repleaced your life sure cant be. I understand that the victim was trying to protect his personal items and money but now that he defended himself he will have to pay even more in medical bills. Interesting!!!

I would think if anyone who has ever seen these would remember, thats a pretty distinctive picture that you would know who they are.
