From Oregon Police:

On 07-07-09 at approximately 8:14 pm, an individual approached two subjects in the parking lot of the Oregon McDonald's restaurant located at 1029 North Main Street in Oregon.

The individual held a knife to the chest of one subject, demanding money from him.

The suspect also pulled up his shirt to reveal what was described as a black, semi-automatic handgun.

The suspect then fled on foot from the scene with an undetermined amount of cash taken from the victim.

A perimeter of the immediate area was quickly formed with the assistance of the Dane Co. Sheriff's Office and the Fitchburg Police Department.

A City of Madison Police Department K-9 unit responded to the scene and a track was initiated.

The suspect, identified as Christopher S. Capps, m/w 04-15-92 of Edgerton was later taken into custody in the City of Stoughton.

Capps is currently in custody at the Dane County Jail facing a tentative charge of Armed Robbery.
