The laws that were made for all this are not for you or I, It's all about the almighty $$$ that the States make off drunk driving, trust me they don't care about us. Look at all the Police & Fire sponsored picnics in the Summer, beer is what drives their crowds. They make $$$ on both sides and could care less about you!!!

How can they charge him with failure to stop at a stop sign, I thought they only had round-a-bouts in Mt. Horeb.

Everywhere you look there are sources for beer/liquor, signage promoting same and always with a compelling message, attractive people, etc. Yes, alcoholism is attractive but so is the life(s) of the victim(s) that may be affected with the drunk driver gets out on the road. There must be aggressive enforcemeent and real punishment - 1st offensive ought to cause loss of all driving rights, 2nd - substantial jail time and up from there. The innocent victim(s) should not need to suffer while some go around and claim this is a sickness, etc. I don't know why it is but our victims seem to bear the brunt of "salving" over the actions of some who just cannot follow the laws. As with so many other types of mental illness the services available are woefully poor. But some people refuse to get help and it is this later group that simply must be incarcerated to protect the innocent.
