Press Release from the Janesville PD:

On 11-09-09 at 12:09 a.m. officers of the Janesville Police Department were sent to a call of shots fired in the area of Parker Dr. and Black Bridge Rd.

Officers were able to determine that the shots were coming from a window at 1107 Hamilton Ave. Officers observed a handgun being fired in an easterly direction. Janesville officers established a perimeter on the residence while deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Department assisted in blocking traffic into the area.

Officers were able to make phone contact with the occupants of 1107 Hamilton Ave. It was discovered there were two people in the house, both walked out of the house and were taken into custody. There were no injuries in this incident.

The investigation has shown that at least one house on N. Parker Dr. has been struck by a bullet. Residents in the area are encouraged to inspect their property and contact police if damage is found.

35 Year Old Male
1115 Hamilton Ave. Janesville, WI

Both have been charged with the following:

941.20 (1)(b) Endangering Safety By Use Of Dangerous Weapon (Intoxicated Use Of Firearm)
941.30(1) First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
947.01 Disorderly Conduct While Armed
