From the Beloit Police Department:

Beloit Police investigators are continuing to investigate three shooting incidents that occurred this weekend.

09-09866: The first occurred early Saturday morning in the 1200 block of Copeland Avenue. A shot spotter activation indicated multiple shots fired in the area. Responding officers did locate where the incident took place and spoke with some people who witnessed some aspects of the incident. Two black male suspects apparently fired several rounds and fled the area on foot.

09-09986: The second incident occurred early Sunday morning at approximately 0400 hours near the intersection of Vine and Merrill. Multiple shots were fired from at least two vehicles that had an altercation in the roadway. 24 year old Ladolphius Tyrone Richardson was wounded in the incident but refused to talk to the police. Richardson has been connected to other violent incidents involving weapons in the community in the past few months.

09-09899: The third incident occurred late Sunday, at approximately 1914 hours, at 1686 Wisconsin Avenue. This call was generated by a shot spotter activation. Several shots were fired into the home. No one was apparently injured. This was the second such incident at this residence in the past couple of months. A 26 year old suspect has been identified and is being sought by police for this shooting investigation.

Investigators are looking into the relationship between these incidents and other shooting investigations to see if they are related in any way. Investigators have found some links to the most recent shooting investigations and other shooting investigations that have occurred in the past few months.
