On 02/14/10, at approximately 10:06 P.M., Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with officers from the Clinton Police Department and Troopers from the Wisconsin State Patrol, were dispatched to 10406 South State Highway 140, in Clinton Township for an armed subject. Randy A. Clark, 49, of Clinton, was intoxicated and had possibly had fired a gun inside the residence. Two additional subjects inside the residence were able to escape by jumping out a second story window.

At 10:19 P.M., Rock County S.W.A.T. responded to the scene along with the City of Beloit S.W.A.T Team and the Dane County Sheriff’s Bearcat. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office Hostage/Negotiations Team was able to make telephone contact with the subject. At approximately 1:40AM, Clark exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Subsequent investigation revealed that Clark had loaded a firearm but had not fired a shot.

Rock County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Clark for Recklessly Endangering Safety-Domestic Violence, Disorderly Conduct- Domestic Violence and a Felony Warrant through Rockford Police.
