Friday, August 22, 2014

MADISON, Wis. --- Democratic candidate Pat Bomhack for State Senate District 17 is asking for a recount.

Bomhack trails Ernie Wittwer in last week's primary by seven votes. A recount could be done in a matter of days. The state's Government Accountability Board says it will certify all election results sometime next week.

The winner between Wittwer and Bomhack will face Howard Marklein (R) in November. Incumbent Dale Schultz (R) is retiring.
