EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (AP) -- Republican vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan is telling voters they need to fight the good fight.

Ryan tells supporters in his home state of Wisconsin that they shouldn't give up and should imagine what will be broadcast on television next week. He says voters need to do everything they can to make sure TV screens show a win for his running mate, Republican Mitt Romney.

Polls show a tight race in the battleground states between Romney and President Barack Obama. Both parties are making a hard pitch in the campaign's final days.

Ryan in recent days has urged supporters to consider whether they want to change the country on Election Day or whether they want to wait four more years before Obama leaves office after his second term.
