MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A newly released video shows Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch asking business leaders for ideas on tax cuts, saying, "We want to know how we can love you more."
The Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/1i1Di2x ) obtained video of the closed Dec. 9 meeting in Beloit through an open-records request. It shows Kleefisch and others at a round table discussion touted by Gov. Scott Walker as a way to gather information about possible tax reforms
About 30 executives are seen arguing for lower taxes and financial incentives for business interests. Kleefisch pushes back on some suggestions.
For example, a partner at an accounting firm says other states fly his clients around in helicopters and give them millions in tax incentives. Kleefisch says Wisconsin taxpayers don't want state officials wining and dining prospective developers.
