Frances BBQ


  • 4lb Venison Roast
  • 2 cans beef broth
  • 1 bullion cube
  • 1 can water
  • salt
  • potatoes
  • onions
  • carrots

*Tip: Turn fat side of roast up. Deer is a naturally dry meat, so this will help juices to absorb.

Add potatoes (smaller potatoes, quicker cooking time) Sweet onions Carrots Pot roast seasoning mix Cook until potatoes or carrots are tender, usually 1-1.5 hours.

4lb Venison Roast, BBQ Recipe

Turn fat side up.

Cover with bacon strips.

Place in crockpot and add water until it barely covers meat and slow cook 8 to 10 hours.

Add 1/4 to 1/2 bottle of John Anderson Sauce.

Pinch of salt

1/4 lb brown sugar

2 to 3 cups Venison broth

David's Special Mixin's

3 cups flour

Pinch of salt

Dash garlic seasoning

Pinch of pepper

*Add sliced tenderloin and ingredients into ziplock bag, shake, then fry on medium/high heat 8 to 10 minutes.
