Carmichael's Roasted Chesnuts

Ingredients

  • Chesnuts
  • 1 pinch Cayeanne Pepper
  • 1 dash salt
  • oz butter (melted)
  • 1 garlic clove

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees



    2. Using a sharp knife, make a small "X" on the flat side of each chesnut



    3. Toss chesnuts, cayeanne, salt and butter together in a bowl



    4. Using a garlic press, crush the clove of garlic over the bowl, toss



    5. Layer chesnuts on a baking sheet



    6. Bake for 4 minutes



    7. Serve warm
