12/16/04 - Stuffed Ham



  • 1 inch slices of ham with pockets for stuffing
  • 1 ½ cup of prepared bread stuffing
  • ½ cup of Gouda cheese
  • ½ cup of diced pineapple
  • ½ cup of pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • ¼ cup of cornstarch & ¼ cup of water mixed


Slice ham into 1 inch slices.

With a sharp knife, cut a pocket between the sides of each slice without cutting through to the bottom of the slice.

Alternate stuffing the ham slice with prepared stuffing and Gouda Cheese.

Sauté the ham slices in a skillet until brown.

Transfer to a baking dish and heat in a medium oven until warm.

Cut each piece in half and display on a platter.

Top with sauce.


Bring pineapple juice to a simmer. Add cornstarch & water mixture until medium sauce. Add diced pineapple and brown sugar and bring to a simmer until thickened. Top over ham slices.
