It's irresponsible for Kipp to continue to operate their foundry in a residential area, and sad city officials, including the mayor, have ignored neighborhood health and safety complaints. Good the explosion didn't happen at the Atwood Avenue plant where the homes are closer as well as Kipp's chlorine storage.
