2 Fatal Grant County Crashes
A Dane County woman and a Grant County man are dead after 2 separate crashes.

Two people are dead Sunday morning from two separate car crashes in Grant County.
The first occurred just after 1pm Saturday night on Highway 151 in Paris Township.
Officials say 29-year-old Bernadette Holland of Madison was traveling southbound when she lost control of her car and crashed into a rocky area.
Holland was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second crash happened Saturday night just before 7pm at the intersection of Airport Road and Jewell Lane in Smelser Township.
Patrick H. Spahn, age 51, and Pamela L. Spahn, age 50, were traveling East on Airport Road. Patrick Spahn was driving at the time when he failed to negotiate a corner, landing the car on its roof in a ditch.
Pamela Spahn was taken to a Platteville Hospital for treatment but no injuries were reported.
Patrick Spahn was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say alcohol was a contributing factor to the crash.
