MADISON (NBC15) Six weeks ago it was a blackened, charred mess. A State Street landmark, the Orpheum Theater, was the target of arson, according to fire investigators.
Friday, employees were putting the finishing touches on the inside of the theater, preparing for its reopening Friday evening.
Owners say it took a lot of soap, paint and elbow grease to get the inside of the Orpheum back in shape, but those attending one of two movies tonight will likely think it was well worth the effort.
While the theater opens tonight the restaurant will re–open early next month.
