UW Receives Stem Cell Research Grant

The University of Wisconsin's stem cell research program received a $1 million boost Friday.

The W.M. Keck Foundation, based in California, is awarding a $1.25 million grant to a U.W. stem cell research team.

The money will be used to support genetic analysis and research on human embryonic stem cells.
