(Cuba City) A tip in a drug investigation leads Grant County authorities on a chase and a man's death.
Police in the city of Hazel Green say they arrested a woman in connection with a make–shift methamphetamine lab reportedly located within a van. The woman then tipped them off regarding 29–year–old Sean Patterson's involvement in the meth–production.
When authorities made contact with Patterson in his Cuba City apartment, he reportedly fled, leading authorities on a short car chase.
Patterson tried to drive through a backyard, but got stuck in the snow.
Police say that's when he pulled out a handgun and shot himself.
