(Madison) Theater-goers lined up early Saturday at Madison's Overture center hoping to get good seats for a hit Broadway show.
Ticketwindow and phone sales for the Mel Brooks musical "The Producers" began Saturday.
And a ticket office manager says sales are already off the charts for the award winning show.
Potential patrons are encouraged to act fast. The ticket office expects the performance's oneweek run to be sold out by the end of this month.
Mary McAskill, of the Overture Center reports, "As of about ½ hour ago, almost 70-percent sold right now. We had 130 people in line this am opened at 10 am totally smashed our expectations."
"The Producers" is in town for eight performance beginning in early May.
