Beloit police say they have two suspects in custody in connection with a murder that happened over the weekend.
Lacolean Hawkins, 22, was arrested Monday on a probation violation. Since then, investigators have tied him to the murder of 25-year-old Marco Munoz–Solis. Hawkins is tentatively charged with first-degree intentional homicide. Police say they believe they've recovered the murder weapon.
Police have also arrested Hawkin's girlfriend, 24–year-old Beth Cooper.
She is charged with being a party to a crime.
Both Cooper and Hawkins are at the Rock County jail pending court appearances.
Police also want to talk Dwan Buchanan, 19. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
