A 58 year-old woman critically injured in a rollover crash near Orfordville has died.
Authorities say Dahla Lynch of Rock Township, died of massive head injuries at UW Hospital on Monday night.
Early Monday afternoon, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Deputies along with Orfordville Police, Fire and EMS responded to Hwy 213, south of Orfordville for a one vehicle rollover crash.
Lynch was flown by Med-flight helicopter from the scene to UW Hospital in Madison.
Authorities say Lynch lost control of her vehicle and traveled off the highway striking a utility pole. Lynch’s vehicle rolled and came to rest on its top in a field adjacent to the highway.
Lynch was wearing her seatbelt and remained pinned in the vehicle. Orfordville Fire Department extricated Lynch from her car.
The crash is still under investigation.

In my opinion I think that everybody could have helped out with what happened. They did not all have to go to the scene of the crash right away. Do you think that the families would have wanted you to do that; seeing the place that their relative died. How would you like it if I was to just go and look at where a loved relative of yours died? You would not like it. Neither did the families. I can say that I did not want anyone going and seeing where my uncle died. Mark Coyne, the RN, was my uncle. I did not like it one bit that everybody wanted to go and see where my uncle died. Seeing people do that really hurt me. You all should have thought more than once about going and seeing the helicopter. thank you.
