A Madison teenager is charged with taking a B.B. gun to school.
A resident saw the 15-year-old trying to conceal what they thought was a handgun while boarding a Madison Metro bus on Park Street near College Court. Police safely stopped the bus at Rusk Street and Rimrock Road.
The suspect told officers that he carried the B.B. gun to school Friday because he was worried about gang members at West High School.
