"This guy has been harassing my family, my boyfriend."

During the past several months, Kelly Jo Stauffacher's reign as Miss Madison 2004, has bordered on becoming a reign of terror.

She explains, "It's always going right to the line, but not stepping over into something that's illegal."

Stauffacher says she believes an unidentified man has been taking it upon himself to book her for as many as 30 public appearances.
She says the problem is…neither she, nor anyone related to the pageant, knows who the man is...

Stauffacher continues, "The M–O's the same, the conversation tone is the same, the words he uses are the same, titles of e–mails are the same, the urgency is the same, (What changes?) The name…the name changes."

Pageant officials say the man even went so far as to schedule an appearance for the new Miss Madison tomorrow morning right here, on NBC 15 News Today.
This interview has been cancelled.

"I'm sick of it and we're gonna put an end to it—now!"
Jayme Cain has directed the Miss Madison pageant for the past four years.
During this time, the unidentified man has posed as a consultant, or newspaper reporter, using several different aliases to book on behalf of a several different contestants…from several different pageants statewide.
"We're putting all the pieces of the puzzle together and realizing that this is potentially the exact same individual," she adds.

Cain adds she has repeatedly instructed the man to stop, adding now, she's concerned for the safety of pageant participants.
Meanwhile, Stauffacher continues describing her hope the man gets help.

"It's almost like he wanted to further my reign and further my platform in some…in some way that I honestly believe came from a good–hearted place it's just…something's wrong."
