The Rock County Coroner will stand trial on charges of misconduct in office.
Karen Gilbertson is charged with possession and delivery of narcotics and theft from a corpse.
Gilbertson is accused of taking prescription drugs from death investigation scenes and using them for herself.
During a hearing Friday morning in Rock County Circuit Court, Gilbertson waived her preliminary hearing.
Former deputy coroner Barbara Collins is also charged in the case… she's accused of delivery of narcotics.
