Man Crashes Stolen Car, Flees Police After Being Shot in Head
Beloit Police continue to investigate the case of a Milwaukee man who ended up with a gunshot wound to his head.
Twenty-year-old Darnel Wainwright is currently being held in the Rock County jail, following his release from a Madison hospital Sunday.
He faces a number of charges after police say he crashed a stolen car, fled from officers, and held a family hostage at gunpoint Saturday.
Authorities believe Wainwright was shot just before the accident.
