Tuesday marks the first time you'll be able to take a free look at your credit report.
A new law says that once a year you can request a free copy of your credit report from each of the three major consumer reporting companies. The credit report won't include your credit score that costs extra. However, Bryan Reed, a bank officer at Park Bank says you should still check to see what's there because financial institutions sometimes report differently depending on the situation.
