The Necedah couple accused of using an electric dog collar on their daughter were sentenced in court Monday.
A judge sentenced Troy Miller to 32 years in prison and his wife, Lee Ann Miller, to 18 years in prison.
Troy and Lee Ann Miller were arrested last March when Lee Ann Miller's then 17-year-old daughter handed a friend a note alleging her mother and stepfather tortured her with an electric dog collar.
She also said her parents hit her with a belt, a chain and pipes.
Troy Miller had pleaded no contest to trying to kill police during a shoot-out and guilty to six child abuse charges.
Lee Ann Miller pleaded no contest to six child abuse counts and a charge of bail jumping.
