Oregon Inmate Escapes
Local law enforcement officials are trying to locate an inmate who escaped early Saturday morning.
Marlon Brewster, 34, escaped from the Oregon Correctional Center at around 1:30 a.m. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 178 pounds.
A correctional center spokesperson says Brewster was being questioned about rules violations when he fled the minimum security facility.
Brewster was involved with a work–release program and reportedly has ties to the Madison–area.
