Just a day after school shooting in Minnesota leaves a total of 10 people dead, a student at Case High School in Racine County brings a sawed off shotgun to school.
Police say the shotgun wasn't loaded and no shots were fired. The boy was arrested after another student told the police liaison officer at the school about it.
Police say the student who brought the shotgun to school told them he needed it for protection. But police say it's not clear why the 16–year old felt he needed protection.
He's been turned over to juvenile authorities in Racine County.
