Rock County Coroner Pleads No Contest, Resigns
(ROCK COUNTY)--Rock County Coroner Karen Gilbertson pleads no contest to misconduct in public office.
She was found guilty.
The Rock County DA recommended a sentence of 18 months probation.
Sentencing will be scheduled after a pre–sentence investigation is completed.
Three other charges, including possession of narcotic drugs, were thrown out as a part of a plea agreement.
Gilbertson also put in her resignation today.
