Ridgewood tenants voiced their concerns to a potential property re–developer.
Madison's Gary Gorman has an option to purchase the complex. Saturday, he joined Fitchburg's mayor in listening to questions and concerns from Ridgewood residents.
Gorman says he has yet to develop a plan for the location.
In the meantime, he encouraged residents at the meeting to join a steering committee, which will provide public input for a re–development plan.
One current resident says, "I don't know what kind of power it's gonna have but he seems real sincere that he wants the input and so that's the good part... maybe 25–30 people gonna have a say."
Fitchburg's mayor adds, anyone who wants to join the steering committee but missed the meeting should contact his office.
Gorman says he'll propose boundaries for Ridgewood's redevelopment during a planning commission meeting later this month.
