Springtime means love is in the air, or at least on the monitor, as some area residents say they've found a local link to love... online.
Dan Chin, a UW alum, says about 400 people have joined his MadCityMatch.com dating website since it was created in early February.
He says the site caters to local clients, explaining he decided to create MadCityMatch.com after business associates encouraged him to expand upon a similar dating website he had already created exclusively for UW Madison students.
"All they do is answer some questions about themselves -- their likes and dislikes -- and also what they're looking for, and the system automatically matches them up with people in the system and people who join the system," says Chin.
Chin says members only need to divulge as much personal information as they're comfortable releasing.
