It's the day taxpayers love to hate, and it's just around the corner.
April 15th is Friday, and so far this year, local volunteers with VITA organization have helped more than 4,000 people with their tax returns.
It's free for low income, elderly, and handicapped tax payers.
"The tax law even for low income tax payers has grown increasingly complex and again the advantage of coming here with electronic software and or trained staff, you'll get a high level of accuracy done on your tax return," says Richard Dilley from the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
VITA volunteers will be at work Wednesday and Friday afternoon.
