Authorities are looking for a man who held up a bank in LaFayette County, and left behind a box he said contained a bomb.
Police say a man walked into the Citizens Bank in South Wayne carrying a cardboard box. He reportedly told a bank employee there was a bomb inside and demanded money.
Nearby homes and businesses were evacuated, but the Dane County Bomb Squad found no explosive inside the box.
The suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 40 and 50, and approximately 6 feet tall. He had nylon covering his face, but was identified as wearing a stocking cap and teal green sweat pants.
