The annual Herb Kohl awards were held at McFarland High School.
The awards are given to the best educators and students throughout the state.
Nearly a dozen Madison teachers received the prestigious award this year.
Among the winners, Tina Murray, a teacher at Malcolm Shabazz High School.
Murray says the money the school was awarded will be used for service learning with students.
Fellowship recipients are chosen for their ability to inspire a love of learning in their students.
Each fellow's school receives a one thousand dollar grant.
