John Gard for U.S. Congress? It's not out of the question.
Assembly Speaker John Gard announced his plans to run for Congress next year to represent northeastern Wisconsin. He's joining three other republicans already in the race to replace U.S. Representative Mark Green.
Gard says he is forming an exploratory committee, the first step toward formal entry into a campaign for the 8th Congressional District.
