Members of Madison's school board are deciding what changes they want made to next year's proposed budget.
Copies of the finished budget were delivered to the board members' homes Tuesday night. The board has until noon Thursday to come up with a list of amendments.
The proposal doesn't include funding for activities and positions on the district's cut list, like strings programs and support staff. Those items will only be added to the budget if extra operating revenue is approved during this month's referendum.
The board will meet next week to debate each member's amendments.
After that, they'll begin the budget approval process.
